Day 3: Shopping + Downtown Disney
Cooper and I have now made it a routine to wake up, get dressed and get down to breakfast where Carlos, our waiter, greets us with a huge smile. He loves how polite Cooper is and how well he sits at the fancy tables with their cloth napkins. And who am I kidding? I love it too!
Once Jeremiah was done with work, we took a trip down to Downtown Disney, Cooper opened his next gift bag filled with a Mickey Mouse shirt and a pair of Mickey Mouse ears, (shop links below). We walked down the streets and grabbed some matching balloons and a photo.
We took him to Rainforest Cafe for the first time where he explored, and asked for, everything he saw until they called us to our table. When we sat down Cooper chose the dino nuggets and was amazed by the thunderstorms that would come every-so-often. Afterward, we quickly ran over to the Lego store before they closed so he could pick out a few of his favorite sets.
Day 4: Santa Monica Pier
Another day of luxury buffet breakfast? Of course! We quickly ate our breakfast and headed out to the pool for a nice warm swim until Jeremiah was done with work for the day.
We walked over to the shops next to the hotel and did a bit of light shopping and Jeremiah met us for lunch. Once he was off of work, we took a road trip over to the Santa Monica Pier which was amazing! There were rides, food, and shops everywhere and we took a walk down to the end of the pier where all the fishermen were posted, trying to get a bite.
Thankfully, this time, Cooper was a bit more understanding about letting his pants get wet and we walked the beach for a while with no complaints. Jeremiah and I took the time to snap a few photos as the sun set over the mountains and then drove around to find some great local tacos.
